Vincent Fondale Recess Julian's Band

THE JULIAN PAVONE BAND

Featuring 4-year old Julian Pavone, "The World’s Youngest Drummer!"®

The Julian Pavone Band made their debut this summer at Michigan’s Stars & Stripes Festival – to the largest crowd their venue has ever seen. Over the last several months, they have also performed at the Brighton Summerfest, for Chicago’s WGN Morning Show, and at the Hard Rock Cleveland for a 2-hour Fox News special with host Kenny Crumpton. They also performed at a premier Detroit venue, The Crofoot, and the famous Whiskey A Go-Go in Hollywood California.

Band Members:

Julian Pavone, at 4-years old, is known as "The World’s Youngest Drummer!"®

Playing drums while sitting atop his father’s lap since the age of 3 MONTHS, this rhythmic child kept a steady beat in his mother’s womb! Born and being raised just outside of Detroit, Michigan, this child was destined to rock!

At 15 months, he auditioned for and was offered a contract to be a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers Drumline. At 20 months, he recorded a CD "Go Baby" with legendary bassist Ralphe Armstrong.

Since then, he has made headlines around the world, appeared on 36 TV shows, including "The Oprah Winfrey Show", "Good Morning America", "Martha Stewart", "Inside Edition", "MSNBC", "WGN", "FOX News Dayside", "Good Company" and Japan’s #1 television show, "Amazing Stories", TWICE. He has also starred in "Finding Julian’s Band", a reality TV show created by Rocky Seprino and was featured in a Korean documentary.

He has performed live on numerous radio stations around the world and for many concert venues including the House of Blues and Hard Rock Cafe. He has performed for the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs and at the Cleveland Grand Prix.

In addition to Julian’s full artist endorsements from Innovation Drum, Sabian cymbal, Vic Firth drumstick and ddrum companies, he has inspired a series of children’s books, as well as the formation of Harmonie Network (a national entertainment company). He also prefers Remo drum skins.

He was featured in "Ripley’s Believe it or Not," was honored at the Hard Rock Cleveland with the "The 2007 Rock and Roll Lifetime Achievement Award", received a Special Declaration of Tribute from the State of Michigan, and has received worldwide media coverage with more than 7000 newspaper and magazine articles written about him. He even recently unveiled his own signature pasta, "Julian’s Mac and Cheese".

He plays a 22-piece custom drum set with 17 cymbals and a double kick. His favorite bands to rock to include, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Chicago, Rush, EW&F, Journey, Santana, and Stephanie K and the Detroit Katz.

Vincent Fondale is the band’s 9-year old vocalist from Cleveland, Ohio. He began singing at the tender age of 2! He made his debut with his Dad’s band, Nostalgia Cleveland, in June 2005 at the Parma Rib-n-Rock. He’s also performed at the Cleveland Agora as an opening act to the 2nd Annual Cleveland Icon Perseverance Awards. In January 2007, Vincent auditioned for the "Finding Julian’s Band"® reality TV show and easily won the lead singer spot.

Alex Raz is the band’s 11-year old guitarist, also calling Cleveland, Ohio home… He began playing the electric guitar at age 4! His father, a guitar teacher, got him started. Alex also auditioned for "Finding Julian’s Band"® Reality TV show and scored the guitarist role. He also performed with Vincent at the Cleveland Agora and later that same year he opened at Nelson Ledges State Park in front crowds of thousands! With his performances, Alex has become an internet sensation, getting over 300,000 views in one hour after footage from the Agora gig with Vincent was posted on Yahoo Video. He recorded a CD with Vincent and legendary bassist Ralphe Armstrong when he was only 9. Finally, Alex has a full artist endorsement from Dean Guitars!

Alexis Shook is the band’s 12-year old bass guitarist, from Cleveland, Ohio. She started playing guitar and drums at age 3. She only recently picked up the bass and within a month of playing, joined Julian’s band. She is obviously a truly naturally talented musician and also has a full artist endorsement from Dean Guitars

Anthony Fondale is the band’s oldest member, at 13-years old! He’s Vincent’s brother and while he plays many instruments, including the drums and bass, the keyboards are his favorite! Anthony recently received a full artist endorsement from Nord Keyboards.
